STEPHANIE GRANATO, Managing Attorney

Stephanie Granato is a corporate attorney and entrepreneur with over 20 years of experience advising growing companies, entrepreneurs and investors.  She has represented a broad range of private and public corporate clients, from start-ups to Fortune 500 companies. 

Ms. Granato’s practice focuses on early stage and venture capital financings, mergers and acquisitions, general corporate and commercial matters, and corporate governance.  She represents clients in a wide variety of industries, including technology, media, clean tech, entertainment, events, music, e-commerce, retail, manufacturing and distribution, and outsource staffing.

Ms. Granato serves on the Advisory Board of WE Global Studios, an AI powered SaaS platform for building and scaling businesses. Before founding Granato Law Office, Ms. Granato practiced corporate law in New York with an international law firm in the corporate transactional group, and in Los Angeles with a boutique corporate firm.  Prior to law school, Ms. Granato served as an analyst at a mid-market investment bank where she designed financial models and valued securities of private companies. Ms. Granato earned her JD from Yale Law School.

KAREN FRAME, Senior Technology & Product Counsel | General Counsel | Entrepreneur

Karen Frame is a veteran technology and product attorney with more than 25 years of experience advising companies across the AI, SaaS, data, real estate, telecommunications, and mobile technology sectors. She combines legal precision with business and financial insight, drawing from her background as a Certified Public Accountant and founder.

Karen has served as General Counsel or Associate General Counsel for leading tech firms, including Brocade (now Broadcom), Mincom (now ABB), Makeena, Besolo, and the Rugged Elegance Foundation. She currently leads Makeena as CEO and General Counsel — an AI-powered technology platform connecting consumers to healthy and sustainable brands.

Her legal practice covers artificial intelligence, machine learning, software licensing, cloud infrastructure, commercial transactions, telecommunications, marketing and advertising law, manufacturing, real estate, retail, and compliance. She has provided fractional legal services to clients such as Accenture, IonQ, VMware, CipherCloud, Cox Communications, Fiserv, and Intel.

Karen began her legal career clerking for an appellate court judge and later served as a prosecutor in Illinois. She also authored a published article on the Fourth Amendment for the Illinois Bar Journal.

She holds a J.D. from the University of Illinois College of Law, with a concentration in international business transactions from the University of Oxford, and a B.S. in Business and Accounting from Indiana University.
